Health & Safety Assistant 

Location: Cheltenham/Hybrid

Pay Range/details: DOE

Permanent

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Assistant to join their Business Support Team. This is a varied, fast-paced, and integral office role with some flexibility of Hybrid working. As an HSEQ Assistant you will actively support the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) team by providing effective and professional HSEQ services across the entire business.

Key Responsibilities – Health & Safety Assistant 

To provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients,
To process general queries in the Inbox and signposting the team where necessary.
Complete weekly H&S audit checks, including attending a site visit each month, ensuring Health & Safety arrangements are being adhered to at all levels of the team whilst out on-site visits.
Support with internal and external department audits- scheduling and writing up internal audit notes as well as assisting with ISO preparation.
Collating H&S questionnaire feedback and calculations, so that they can be presented to the wider Team..
Assisting with the management of Controlled Documents, monitoring and completion of tenders.
Writing up of H&S meeting minutes, notes and audits. Scheduling invites and arranging meeting rooms.
Any other adhoc duties as required 
Qualifications & Requirements – Health & Safety Assistant 

Previous experience within Health & Safety, Environment or Quality policies
Previous customer service and administration experience
Positive, self motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills
IT proficient including Microsoft office and excel
Organised and solution focused
