Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: Up to £17,524 (dependent on experience)

We are working on behalf of a vibrant and diverse two-form entry primary school based in High Wycombe, seeking a dedicated EYFS Learning Support Assistant to join the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children in EYFS, particularly those with high SEN needs, including speech and language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other developmental delays.
Work closely with the EYFS teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of each child.
Assist in the delivery of a stimulating and creative EYFS curriculum, supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Help with day-to-day classroom tasks, including setting up activities, supervising outdoor play, and assisting with personal care needs if required.
Monitor and report on children's progress to the class teacher and SENCO, ensuring that targets are being met.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role, ideally in an EYFS setting.
A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
Experience working with children with high SEN needs is essential.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
