Job Title: Credit Controller

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Yeovil, Somerset

Salary Range: Up to £28,000 PA DOE

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (one hour lunch break)

Responsibilities:

Lead regular debtor review meetings with key internal stakeholders.
Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring master data accuracy.
Resolve customer queries promptly and proactively manage payments.
Manage relationships with debt collection agencies.
Drive internal process adherence to ensure invoicing accuracy.
Conduct credit checks and set up new accounts.
Post daily banking transactions and allocate cash to debtor accounts.
Monitor outstanding debt and collection efforts.
Provide support to the finance department with ad-hoc queries.Skills:

Proven strong credit control experience.
Good knowledge of Sage.
Excellent spreadsheet skills.
Experience with Construction Industry Scheme.
Highly organised with the ability to problem solve.
