Finance Assistant

Main duties to include:

- Liaising with suppliers with any queries - helping the Purchasing department in resolving pricing issues/disputes.
- Assisting with payment runs.
- Processing & keying supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Maintaining the supplier ledgers on Business Central.
- Answering the telephones and taking messages on behalf of the finance team when required.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Financial Controller.
- Opportunity to assist in month end procedures.
- Covering the Accounts receivable and credit control department for annual holiday/sickness.
- Support the wider Finance team with reporting and other queries as and when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of billing processes and financial systems.

**Requirements**:

- Be numerically sound with good maths grade
- Good computer skills, including Excel, Outlook & Word
- Punctuality, working to deadlines and the ability to respond quickly
