As Head Chef, you will be the creative and operational leader of the kitchen, responsible for managing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. The Head Chef role will work closely with the management team to ensure an outstanding dining experience for all guests, other duties and responsibilities include:

- Design and develop a diverse and appealing menu that reflects our pub's unique style and caters to our patrons' preferences.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team, including Sous Chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Monitor and manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and seasonal menus.

As Head Chef, you will need to be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with the kitchen team and management team. Other qualities needed to excel in this position include:

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Reliable and passionate - being punctual, well presented, honest and full of enthusiasm.
