Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager for a national sprinkler company , you will have full operational and budgetary responsibility for all aspects of contract management, customer relationships, and team leadership. Your primary focus will be ensuring the successful delivery of sprinkler service and project contracts across the UK, with a strong emphasis on technical engineering standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership & Team Management: Provide strong leadership and inspiration to service, design, and project teams, ensuring a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

* Operational & Budgetary Oversight: Manage all aspects of contract management, including financial responsibility and ensuring efficient delivery of sprinkler engineering contracts.

* Health & Safety: Ensure all teams follow best practices in health and safety, which is a priority within the company.

* Technical Excellence: Deliver contracts that meet cutting-edge technical standards and solutions, ensuring the highest levels of engineering quality.

* Compliance: Fully manage and support the compliance process, ensuring all works meet the relevant industry standards, including leading internal and external audits.

* Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering an exceptional customer experience and fostering true partnerships and collaboration.

About You:

* Must have the right to work in the UK.

* Experience: Proven track record within the UK sprinkler industry, with an in-depth knowledge of LPS 1048. Holding LPCB basic design certification is a minimum requirement.

* Qualifications: Degree-level qualification or extensive experience at a senior management level.

* Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of critical environment infrastructure, capital project delivery, and energy management services.

* Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive contract profitability.

* Leadership: A decisive leader with excellent time management and communication skills. Ability to form collaborative relationships with large and varied teams.

* Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with strong analytical skills, able to develop innovative solutions and manage complex issues under pressure.
