Beyond is a cutting-edge Wellness & Physical Optimization Centre utilizing the latest technologies and therapies to enhance human health and performance. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management, a passion for wellness and health, and a willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a VC-funded start-up where you can make a significant impact and collaborate closely with the founder, an experienced entrepreneur.

Responsibilities of the General Manager:

Work with the Founder to prepare the centre for opening.
Once open, oversee daily business operations, including managing staff, shift schedules, and customer appointments.
Ensure excellent customer service and uphold high standards throughout the centre.
Actively engage in social media to promote the centre and its services.
Utilize sales skills to upsell products and services, enhancing the customer experience.
Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, leading by example with a hands-on approach.
Embrace challenges and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Collaborate closely with the founder to drive innovation and growth initiatives.

Requirements of the of the General Manager:

Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the wellness, fitness, or beauty industry.
Passion for wellness and health
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Highly organized, with a preference for working from task lists.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn about AI and other emerging technologies.
Ability to maintain professionalism while also bringing a sense of humor to the workplace.
An interest in a healthy lifestyle would be advantageous.
