Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Legal Assistant based in Swindon. This is a contract position working full time hours.

The job:

To provide a comprehensive legal support to the legal department as a whole.
To assist the legal team to offer legal services to members and officers of the client in terms of transactional work and advice.
To provide and prepare legal advice and documentation, assisting with case management, and draft legal documents.
To manage a caseload of non-complex and routine legal work, corresponding with clients and external customers.
Additional ad hoc legal and administrative duties as directed by management.The candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role working within a legal office or in-house legal department
Legal knowledge of public sector processes, or legal social care, safeguarding processes desired
Relevant professional level qualification or certification
