Logistics Coordinator

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be again supporting a leading manufacturer in their search for a Logistics Coordinator to join an established team and keep the global network running smoothly.

This Logistics Coordinator position supports an international shipping network, supplying directly to customers globally this leading product has multiple applications used across multiple sectors including medical, oil and gas and heavy industry.

The role would include but is not limited to:

* Ensuring the on-time delivery of the supply base

* proactively identifying issues that might hinder the smooth flow of shipping and resolving them promptly

* Oversee the accuracy and shipping of customer orders, maintaining individual customer requirements

* Maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate and monitor stock levels and perform regular audits

* Enforce and promote a culture of safety in the warehouse

* Collaborate with suppliers and maintain positive relationships to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Experience required to apply for the role:

* Knowledge of order processing systems would be a benefit

* Experience with shipping and receiving using ERP systems

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Experience operating a Forklift truck – a valid Forklift license is not required however previous experience is a must.
