💼 Role: Temporary DBS Secretary for Primary School
💰 Salary: £13.15 per hour
📍 Location: Westminster
⏰ Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, (Apply online only) each day
Key Responsibilities:
Be the friendly face and first point of contact for parents, offering assistance and support.
Greet and sign in visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and adherence to security procedures.
Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally, taking messages and transferring calls when necessary.
Manage correspondence distribution and maintain accurate records.
Keep the school office and entrance hall tidy and presentable.
Assist parents with queries and make arrangements with school suppliers as needed.
Keep pupil records updated on the school management information system.
Monitor daily registers, follow up on absences, and ensure fire evacuation procedures are in place.
Support the Senior Leadership Team and implement new systems when needed.
Manage the administration of the School First Aid Policy, including first aid equipment, training, and accident records.
Coordinate school calendar and organise school clubs, including bookings, promotion, billing, and administration.
Assist the Parent-Teacher Association Chair with administrative tasks.Personal Attributes:
1-3 years' experience in similar roles, preferably in administration/customer service within the education sector.
Knowledge of school databases and independent education sector is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and organisational abilities.
Ability to work autonomously and follow both initiative and direction.
