Job Title: Music Teacher - Primary

Location: Westminster Primary School

Job Type: Permanent - Part Time

Salary: $78,397 - $113,568 per annum

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be well organized, motivated, and committed to developing positive relationships and high expectations for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, teach, and assess against the Western Australian Curriculum in Music for Years 1 to 6.
  • Be a visible presence in the school promoting engagement and participation in Music for all students.
  • Experience with Choir, performances, assemblies, whole school events, and co-ordinating an instrumental music program will be well regarded.
  • Implement high-impact teaching strategies and whole school plans.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member and inspire students musically through engaging teaching practice.
  • Establish genuine, positive, and caring relationships with students.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate competency against the domains of Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice, and Professional Engagement.
  • Meet the Department of Education's requirements for eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
