Music Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join our team at Westminster Primary School.
The successful applicant will be well organised, motivated, and committed to developing positive relationships and high expectations for all students. As a valued member of the teaching staff, the successful applicant should exhibit a high level of knowledge and ability to plan, teach and assess against the Western Australian Curriculum in Music for Years 1 to 6.
An important aspect of the position as Music Specialist is to be a visible presence in our school promoting engagement and participation in Music for all students. Experience with Choir, performances, assemblies, whole school events and co-ordinating an instrumental music program will be well regarded, as will the ability to implement high impact teaching strategies and whole school plans.
The successful applicant will ideally work as a collaborative team member and be able to inspire student musically, through their engaging teaching practice. You should also exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and be able to establish genuine, positive and caring relationships with our students.
