Role Overview:

Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - CAMHS
Band: 6
Location: Birmingham
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £26 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Community Psychiatric Nurse specialising in mental health, you'll be at the forefront of delivering compassionate and personalised care to patients in their communities. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Patient Visits: Conduct regular visits to patients in their homes or community settings, ensuring their needs are met and they feel supported.
Medication Administration: Administer medications at designated times to ensure patients receive the proper treatment for their needs.
Supportive Conversations: Engage with patients to understand their mental health conditions, monitor their progress, and provide tailored support.
Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments to ensure patients' safety, creating a secure environment for effective treatment and recovery.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Active NMC Registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Experience in Community Settings: Previous experience working within a community setting is essential.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.
Team Player with Autonomy: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to Quality Care: A genuine dedication to delivering the highest standard of care to patients.
