Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse Position

Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) or Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) to join our esteemed team at Hunter AHP Resourcing. This role is pivotal in delivering essential community mental health services.

Position Details:
Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Birmingham Area
Contract Duration: 3 months

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Compensation:
£23 - £26 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' mental health conditions.
2. Administering prescribed medications and observing their impact on patients.
3. Providing therapeutic interventions, including counseling and behavioral therapies.
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute personalized care plans.
5. Offering emotional support and education to patients and their families, fostering mental wellness and recovery.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
1. Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
2. Demonstrated experience in a community recovery setting.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
6. Previous experience in a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is preferred.

Working Conditions:
This role requires a commitment to a Monday to Friday schedule, with flexibility in working hours. The contract is set for a duration of 3 months.
