Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our Solihull Home Treatment Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care for service users
  • Participating in the setting of quality standards and monitoring their implementation
  • Ensuring adherence to professional roles and responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach and current adult and child safeguarding legislation
  • Establishing therapeutic relationships with service users and implementing evidence-based interventions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration with the NMC
  • Experience of working in a community mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full UK driving license
