Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical aspects of MEP projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion. The role will involve managing projects in London, Kent, and Essex, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality electrical systems within specified timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

* Coordinate with other project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall project requirements.

Client Interaction:

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding electrical aspects of projects.

* Provide regular project updates and address client concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.

3.

Team Leadership:

* Lead and motivate a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

* Ensure effective communication and coordination within the electrical team and across other project disciplines.

4.

Budget Management:

* Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within cost constraints.

* Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

5.

Quality Assurance:

* Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure electrical systems meet industry standards and client specifications.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and address any issues that may arise.

6.

Risk Management:

* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

* Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.

7.

Compliance:

* Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.

* Collaborate with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary approvals for electrical installations.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the MEP industry.

* Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Proficient in project management software.

* PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Location: London, Kent, Essex (Frequent travel to project sites required)
