Job Description

Overview

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to join their Dronfield site. This role is critical to their operations as it involves managing end-of-line quality control processes, handling customer complaints, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-of-line quality control processes and ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
Address and resolve customer complaints and external quality issues, acting as the primary point of contact for these concerns.
Collaborate daily with the production team to address quality-related matters and implement improvements.
Perform hands-on quality control tasks, including inspections and testing of products.
Report on quality issues and metrics to the Head of Production and provide recommendations for improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to quality control.Qualifications

Proven experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the medical device industry is not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without direct reports.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.
Training will be provided, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.Salary

£32,000 per annum
