Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for a Lead Urology Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join a state-of-the-art private hospital based in Central London. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £60,500 plus a 4% shift enhancement and excellent benefits. Working hours are 37.5 hours across 5 days, Monday – Friday with very occasional Saturday working. Condensed hours across 4 days may be considered for the right individual.

You will be working with one of London’s top private hospitals, with c120 beds, 8 theatres (including 3 laminar flow, 1 hybrid and a robotic surgery suite) and a level 3 intensive care unit. They offer both adult and paediatric services across a range of specialties including orthopaedics, spinal, breast care, gastroenterology, urgent care, urology and robotics.

In this Lead Urology Scrub Practitioner role, you can expect to:

• Provide clinical oversight and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of robotic and urology surgery
• You will be the go-to person for Urology surgery, and support Consultants and the wider management team with the efficient running of the department, prioritising patient safety and clinical outcomes.

To apply for this Lead Urology Scrub Practitioner role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Lead Urology Scrub Practitioner. We also welcome applications from experienced Senior Urology Scrub Practitioners looking to step up into a management role. You will be confident scrubbing on a variety of urology cases and supporting with the day-to-day management of theatre lists. Experience working with Davinci Xi is desirable but full training can be provided.
