Band 8a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist

Belmont Recruitment are looking for a Clinical or Forensic Psychiatrist for an NHS based position in Fareham as part of the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The service is currently looking for a HCPC registered psychiatrist for a permanent position working as a Band 8a Adult Clinical/Forensic Psychiatrist. Doctoral (or equivalent) level of training is required.
Purpose of the service;
* Work within a highly motivated psychological therapies team, with male inpatients with mental health disorders and forensic histories, detained in a low medium secure hospital.
* Provide psychologically informed services to the wider multidisciplinary team, and across all sectors of care.
Duties will involve;
* Psychological assessments.
* Specialist treatment.
* Working with families / carers.
* Comprehensive psychological services.
* Working cross-functionally.
This position is full-time – working 40 hours per week over 5 days.
Pay rates negotiable dependent on experience.
The applicant must have sufficient experience and knowledge for a Band 8a post or to be developed from Band 7.
