Introduction…
Astute Technical are working with a leading nuclear company to recruit for a Quality Engineer based at their site in Aldermaston. This position can be either permanent or on a 1-year contract basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contributing to capability development.
Attending design/technical/task reviews, defect reviews and stakeholder meetings as required to ensure Quality is represented.
Control of inspection/calibration/reporting and processes, to ensure Quality delivery is maintained.
Collation of LTQRs.
Production/Checking of project quality documentation.
Supplier/Equipment/documentation inspections.
Client stakeholder management.
Raising quality non-conformances where applicable.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Experience of managing the quality assurance across several projects.
Production or checking of quality plans. Supplier inspections of manufacture and LTQR documentation.
