Job Title: Deputy Manager - Learning Disability Service
Location: Torquay
Salary: £27,500 per annum

Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a reputable learning disability service provider dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. The organisation is committed to delivering high-quality care and support tailored to the unique needs of each individual we serve. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in Torquay.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Manager in the day-to-day operations of our learning disability service. You will work closely with the Manager and staff to ensure the delivery of person-centered care, support, and activities that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service.

* Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.

* Provide guidance and support to staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.

* Participate in staff training and development activities.

* Contribute to the assessment and review process for service users.

* Act as a point of contact for service users, families, and external agencies.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a learning disability service is essential.

* Ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

* A commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals with disabilities.
