LTF Recruitment are currently collaborating with a wonderful Primary school based in Kingston Upon Thames, London. The school is looking for an outgoing individual to undertake the difficult, but rewarding role of a Behaviour Mentor and assist younger students that showcase difficult behaviour or require additional assistance on a day-to-day basis. The role of Behaviour Support Mentor is to support the learning process.

As a Behaviour Mentor your duties and responsibilities will be:

To collaborate with teachers ensuring effective behaviour.
Working 1:1 with identified children to deliver bespoke additional support to pupils.
To set learning targets to improve behaviour and track progress of students including those with Special Educational Needs.
To challenge and motivate students to promote self-esteem and improve overall behaviour.
Provide valuable feedback and advice to pupils, serving as a role model and report back to parents/carers.About you:

Excellent communication and resilience skills
Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with the students and fellow colleagues.
Resilient, emphatic and able to remain positive in difficult situations.
You have previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or a SEN Teaching Assistant.
Relevant qualifications in Education Studies or related field are desirable.
