Job Title: Estimator

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Circa £50,000 + Package

Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail? Our client, a leading company in structural steel, secondary steel, and architectural metalwork, is seeking a talented Estimator to join their dynamic team in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately price new customer enquiries for structural steel, secondary steel, and architectural metalwork projects.

* Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing.

* Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive and profitable bids.

* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and market trends.

* Provide detailed cost breakdowns and reports to management.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel, secondary steel, or architectural metalwork sectors.

* Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

* Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
