A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Steelwork Estimator to join our clients highly successful steelwork fabrication business. You will have proven experience in bespoke/architectural steelwork and be able to work independently and as part of a team; the projects will be a mix of independent and collaborative, pricing a variety of steelwork including stairs, balustrades, handrails, Juliet balconies and canopies. You can expect a very good starting salary, with ongoing career potential, all in a supportive environment that encourages career growth and provides job security. Estimator duties include:

  • Receiving enquires and reviewing drawings and specs.
  • Carrying out material take offs and assigning times/costs for the full scope of work.
  • Liaise internally and externally if needed to ensure accurate pricing on elements such as glass and timber.
Estimator requirements:
  • Proven experience working as an Estimator is essential.
  • Experience working on architectural metal and/or structural steel is essential.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Live in/within a commutable distance of Sheffield – this is an office based role.
