A very exciting established and growing business within food manufacturer and supply is looking to grow their commercial function with the appointment of a new National Account Manager working with of UK Grocery multiple customers.
The role reports into the Sales & Marketing Director and will work closely with the Managing Director and other members of the business in Sales, Logistics, Finance and Technical
This role will present the opportunity for a talented National Accounts professional to get rapid exposure to major customers and fast track their career through strong coaching in all commercial areas of FMCG. The business is in scale up stage, has sales more than £12m and growing at pace.
Key roles and responsibilities include: -
* Maximising range and distribution in existing Retail accounts (Top 4 & Discounters)
* Securing new Retail accounts for our Supplier partners
* Delivering optimal promotional plans, where listed
* Launching new branded product ranges at annual range changes
* Maximising sales and margin to deliver financial growth year on year for Best of Poland
* Best in class day to day account management including analysis on the Retailer portals
* Effective cross functional collaboration with department heads and appointed Suppliers overseas
The ideal candidate
* 3 years’ + experience managing top 5 UK Grocery customers ideally across branded ambient product ranges but certainly branded food products
* Ideally previously worked in Ethnic/World foods and have existing relationships with relevant buyers
* Classic blue-chip training, preferably combined with experience gained at a high growth SME
* Thrives in an ambitious and fast paced environment
* Great at working within and leading cross functional project teams
* Exemplary commercial acumen & negotiation skills
* Effective networker and relationship builder
* Available to travel to Europe for meetings with Supplier partners, where required
