The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Fridays with a one-hour lunch break. This is a full-time office-based position, with no weekend or bank holiday working.
As the Sales Support Administrator, you will be working for a successful manufacturing company within a friendly, supportive and driven team. This role involves working with many departments, which means lots of variety. It can be very busy, and you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced office environment and have good priority and time management skills.
You will be supporting and managing the quotes and orders aspect of the business, seeing this through from start to finish. This will include processing orders and quotations, which requires high attention to detail. You will also liaise with customers regarding their orders and quotations from updates through to sign-off and manufacture. Customer service is very important for this role, you will need to be confident and not afraid to pick up the phone and have a positive call with customers when required.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need…
Previous experience working in an office.
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, verbal and written.
To be confident to learn new systems as many of their internal systems are bespoke.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage multiple inboxes.
To be happy to get stuck in, learning as you go.
To have a proactive approach.
Previous experience with costing, pricing and quotations would be an advantage, but this is not essential.
