Location: Hybrid (Nationwide travel required, with primary locations in Coventry, Stoke, and various UK sites)

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking to transition into a full-time role in Project Engineering? This could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will turn electrical designs into practical, executable projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective implementation. You'll work closely with teams across various disciplines to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities of this Electrical Project Engineer roles: 
- Work with electrical designers to turn conceptual designs into actionable projects.
- Analyse 3D models to optimize cable routing and reduce costs.
- Develop cable and termination schedules from wiring schematics.
- Manage project progress trackers and oversee the commissioning of electrical installations.
- Identify and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation disciplines.
- Prepare quotations for additional project works as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electrical solutions that meet client needs and industry regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies into our designs.
- Work with the sustainability team to ensure green solutions are prioritized in project designs.
- Engage effectively with designers, maintenance teams, and clients to ensure strong stakeholder engagement.
- Provide regular project updates and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Promote a safety-first culture and engage with health and safety protocols at all project sites.
- Ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.
- Assist in value engineering to identify and manage potential cost overruns.
- Support project procurement timelines to optimize cash flow.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project execution.
- Ensure thorough documentation of project activities, including progress reports and milestone tracking.

Qualifications and Skills of this Electrical Project Engineer role: 
- Experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in project execution and commissioning.
- Operational and maintenance engineering experience focused on plant improvements.
- Proficiency in interpreting 3D models and design schematics.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning electrical installations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with designers, maintenance teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project.
- Experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation.
- Experience in material handling, heavy industrial machinery, or similar sectors is a plus.
