We are in search of a motivated and proficient Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering division. This role is ideal for those with a background in Maintenance Engineering looking to transition into Project Engineering. You will be responsible for converting electrical designs into actionable projects, ensuring their effective and economical execution. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to uphold our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with electrical designers to translate conceptual designs into executable projects.
- Analyze 3D models to optimize cable routing and minimize costs.
- Create cable and termination schedules based on wiring diagrams.
- Oversee project progress and manage the commissioning of electrical installations.
- Identify and address challenges across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation sectors.
- Prepare cost estimates for additional project tasks as required.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop electrical solutions that align with client specifications and industry standards.
- Stay informed on industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into our designs.
- Partner with the sustainability team to prioritize eco-friendly solutions in project designs.
- Engage effectively with designers, maintenance teams, and clients to ensure robust stakeholder engagement.
- Provide regular updates on project status and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Foster a culture of safety and adhere to health and safety protocols at all project sites.
- Implement quality assurance processes to deliver superior electrical solutions.
- Assist in value engineering to identify and manage potential cost overruns.
- Support project procurement timelines to enhance cash flow.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project execution.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of project activities, including progress reports and milestone tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on project execution and commissioning.
- Background in operational and maintenance engineering aimed at plant enhancements.
- Proficient in interpreting 3D models and design schematics.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning electrical installations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with designers, maintenance teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Project.
- Experience across various engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation.
- Background in material handling, heavy industrial machinery, or related fields is advantageous.
