Location: Brockworth, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full time, permanent | 37.5 hours per week | Hybrid working – One day in office, four from home
Salary: £24,100 increasing to £25,600 after 18 months

Our leading client is on the hunt for Claims Handlers to join their rapidly growing team

Whether you're plotting a retail escape or kickstarting your post-grad journey, our client wants to hear from you This position offers a professional environment where you can utilise and grow your customer interaction skills whilst working alongside a fantastic team.

Please note, our clients core working hours are between 08:00am – 21:00pm Monday to Friday, and 09:00am – 17:00pm Saturday and Sunday. You will be asked to work one Saturday or Sunday every other week and will get the day of in lieu.

Key Responsibilities of a Claims Handler

* Guide customers on their policy benefits confidently.

* Create a stress-free experience by resolving customer concerns.

* Assist in creating new claims, understanding customer needs.

* Handle Broker and Partner inquiries to ensure progress.

* Ensure accurate claims processing (training provided).

* Manage claims costs with effective solutions.

* Handle challenging calls professionally and efficiently.

* Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customer needs.

* Identify fraud indicators and make informed decisions.

* Maintain high standards in call handling.

Key Skills of a Claims Handler

* Customer service experience is a plus but not required; attitude and potential are valued.

* Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

* Resilient and positive in tough situations.

* Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.

* Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
