SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for an Warehouse Order Picker for our client in Huddersfield on a permanent basis.

Duties include

· Using scanners, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for and to ensure that inventory is managed accurately

· Picking items from the warehouse, packaging completed orders

· Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork to allow efficient tracking of orders

· Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries and assisting with the distribution of goods to their correct storage locations

· Restocking shelves using items from storage areas to ensure inventories are always full

· Meeting picking speed and efficiency targets as specified by Supervisors

· Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

Experience Required

· Must be able to lift heavy items

· If you have a FLT Counterbalance licence this is preferable

· Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar role preferred.

· Good numeracy & literacy skills

· Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools is a plus.

· Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm

Pay rate £11.94 per
