**Hours**: Monday to Thursday 07.45-16.30, Friday 07.45-15.15

**Business Description**:Phoenox Textiles Ltd are a family-owned têxtile manufacturer based in Clayton West, Huddersfield and we have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of award-winning brands and distribute worldwide. Having started with just 10 members of staff we now employ over 170 people and continue to innovate and expand in our sector.
- We are looking for an experienced order Picker to work in our Rugs department. We are looking for a good all-rounder who is proactive, practical and can work well under their own steam, as well as in a team, prioritising tasks in line with the needs of the business. _
- **Duties to include, but not limited to**:_
- _Accurate picking and despatching using a hand scanner_
- _Unloading inbound containers_
- _Cyclical counts_
- _Keeping the department clean and tidy_
- _Always Adhering to health and safety_

- Please note: There is manual handling involved within this role the successful applicant will be required to be physically fit._
- **Qualifications and Experience **_- _
- _Recent experience within a similar role, preferable in têxtiles but not essential._
- _Strong time management to meet deadlines._
- _Excellent communication skills._
- _Good literacy and numeracy skills required._
- _Knowledge of quality control procedures and attention to detail._
- _A friendly and approachable demeanour as to represent the company well._
- _Knowledge of basic computer software, handheld scanners and Microsoft excel._

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
