**The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Huddersfield area. We are looking for an experienced Order Picker to join the team.**

**Hours**: Monday to Thursday, 7:45am until 16:30pm and then Friday 07:45am until 15:15pm

**Pay Rate**: £10.42 per hour PAYE

**Location**: Huddersfield, HD8

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**The role**:

- Pick orders accurately from storage areas using order sheets
- Safely operate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, carts) for material movement
- Organise items on pallets, prevent damage in transit
- Verify orders against sheets and codes, resolve discrepancies
- Support inventory management, report stock issues to supervisor
- Collaborate for proper packaging, labelling, and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised work environment
- Report equipment issues, hazards, damaged products promptly
- Follow company policies, attend meetings, suggest process improvements

**Requirements**:

- Be proficient with numeracy and literacy
- Be hard-working reliable and flexible
- Prior experience within order picking, warehouse operations or related field is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
