A secondary school in Ashton-Under-Lyne are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full time permanent basis, starting in September 2024.

You will be combining your knowledge of learning support and teaching techniques with your compassion and understanding of learning needs, and will be dedicated to establishing positive relationships with pupils and understanding their needs.

The successful applicant will have:

Initiative and the ability to work in a team
The ability to share the school aims and contribute to the ethos and vision for the whole school
A passion to work with all pupils from all age groups
Substantial experience
Commitment, flexibility, enthusiasm and humour
A genuine desire to support pupil well-being
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
