Join a Derbyshire based FMCG manufacturing company that values safety, health, and environmental stewardship as core components of its operations.

As HSE Manager, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by aligning global SHE strategies with site-level goals, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

Description

Leadership & Compliance: Lead site-level SHE compliance processes, ensuring adherence to local laws, permit authorisations, and global standards.
High-Hazard Process Safety: Provide technical expertise in managing high-hazard chemical processes, including conducting risk assessments and coordinating Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
Auditing & Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement internal audit processes, identifying and addressing potential HSE non-conformance's proactively.
Incident Investigation & Prevention: Champion the investigation of HSE incidents, ensuring corrective actions are deployed to prevent future occurrences.
Training & Development: Lead the development and maintenance of HSE training programs, ensuring all required training is completed effectively.Profile

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of progressive HSE Manager experience in a global manufacturing setting.
Experience in high-hazard chemical process safety management (PSM) in line with OSHA standards.
Proven ability to empower and support non-SHE program champions to drive day-to-day SHE processes.
Preferred:

Advanced degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CSP, CRSP, CIH, CFPS, CHMM, or CMIOSH.
Experience in team leadership and project management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Offer
