The Cyber Security Analyst - DLP will initially work as part of the Cyber Security Maturity Programme team to implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) applications. Subsequently, the role will transition to maintaining these applications within the Security Operations team, handling related tickets, and proactively investigating issues.

Principal Accountabilities:

Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Implement and manage DLP solutions to protect sensitive data.
Microsoft Purview: Expertise in Microsoft Purview for data governance.
E-Discovery: Proficiency in e-discovery processes, including legal holds and data preservation.
Holistic DLP Approach: Comprehensive understanding of DLP, considering technical and organizational aspects.
Ownership of DLP Agenda: Lead DLP initiatives, set strategic goals, and drive implementation.
End-to-End DLP Management: Oversee all DLP aspects, including policy creation, deployment, monitoring, and response.
Data Leakage Awareness: Identify potential data leakage methods.
Secure External Data Sharing: Implement secure methods for external data sharing.
Reporting and Monitoring: Generate DLP reports, prevent data breaches, and monitor data flows.
Security Alerts Analysis: Assist with investigations from SIEM systems.
Incident Management: Follow escalation and incident management procedures.
Client Interaction: Support incident response and troubleshooting activities.
Security Guidance: Advise internal and external teams on threats and vulnerabilities.
Threat Awareness: Stay updated on current and emerging threats for a fast response.
Technical Requirements:

2+ years' experience with Microsoft Purview.
Proven track record with Microsoft Purview in large enterprises and non-Microsoft DLP policies.
Understanding of data management principles and best practices.
Experience in Information Security governance, risk, and compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detailed Knowledge in at Least 3 Purview Areas:

Information Protection / Sensitivity Labelling | Data Lifecycle Management | Data Loss Prevention | Insider Risk Management | eDiscovery & Content Search | Azure Information Protection | Compliance Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Microsoft SC-400 (Highly desirable)
Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
CISSP, CISA, or Security+ certification.
Experience with Microsoft Purview and MCAS.
Experience with ticket handling and proactive investigation.
Good technical report writing and communication skills.
