Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Overview:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) you will be instrumental in shaping the operational framework and scaling our business to new heights. Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, risk management, and technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and drive efficiency across trading operations, risk management, compliance, and customer support functions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards governing Forex trading, staying proactive in monitoring regulatory developments, and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  • Risk Management: Develop and execute robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, market, and regulatory risks, safeguarding the interests of the company and its clients.
  • Technology and Innovation: Collaborate with the technology team to leverage innovative solutions, enhance trading platforms, and optimize infrastructure to deliver a seamless and feature-rich trading experience for our users.
  • Financial Management : Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company's growth objectives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and sustainable financial performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the formulation of strategic initiatives, business development plans, and market expansion strategies, leveraging market insights and industry trends to capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Team Development: Build and nurture high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, and providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, business partners, and industry peers, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operational leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on start-ups or fast-paced environments.

• Deep understanding of retail trading, CFDs, Forex markets, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, risk management, and compliance in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

• Experience as a broker, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Exceptional leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
