You’ll be a key partner to the business lines across Canada Life UK, collaborating closely with them on internal communications initiatives and messages.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring consistency, clarity, and efficiency of communications to connect people to Canada Life’s strategy and blueprint to help every colleague understand their role in executing our strategy and driving business performance

What you'll do:


Responsible for ensuring consistency, clarity, and efficiency of communications to connect people to Canada Life’s strategy and blueprint to help every colleague understand their role in executing our strategy and driving business performance. A key partner to the business lines across Canada Life UK, collaborating closely with them on internal communications initiatives and messages.


Support the central planning and co-ordination of internal communications across Canada Life UK, engaging with internal partners to ensure that our internal communications approach and activity is well understood.
Work towards the continuous improvement of the quality and effectiveness of internal communications channels, processes, and practices, seeking appropriate feedback to ensure first class delivery.

Develop internal communications materials to high standard to ensure clarity of message across the organisation. This includes sourcing content, writing, editing and briefing requirements to internal and external product teams, in particular Brand & Marketing.Proactively identify new and exciting opportunities to deliver first class communications across Canada Life

What you'll be accountable for:

• Proactively identify new and exciting opportunities to deliver first class communications across Canada Life
• Ensure company communications and campaigns are delivered in the approachable and Canada Life tone of voice.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across Canada Life to ensure strategies are aligned with business priorities and recognise the diverse nature of our business.

What you'll bring to the role:


• Experience in in internal communications.
• A track record of delivering employee engagement and internal communications programmes with demonstrable results and positive business outcome.
• Ability to partner with Executives and other senior stakeholders across the range of business functions.
• Knowledge of the range and variety of communications channels and processes to ensure the right communication reaches the right employees at the right time.
• Ability to develop collaborative working relationships within the organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to hit the ground running when dealing with complex issues.
• Self-motivated, well-organised, pragmatic, and able to perform tasks independently.
• Continuous drive & energy to get things done.
