The post holder will utilise expert clinical knowledge and skills to lead in the provision and management of a quality patient flow/pathway service, ensuring the most effective and appropriate use of bed capacity within Medicine Clinical Board.


The Clinical Operational Manager plays a central role within Medicine Clinical Board ensuring organisation management and monitoring of the patient flow/pathway, in order to deliver a standardised and coordinated approach to patient flow. The focus of the role is improving the patient experience and quality of care, while ensuring timely flow is maintained.
