Job Description

PN London’s Healthcare team has more than doubled in size over the last year and brings a strong mix of pharma, corporate, digital and policy to some of the biggest and most innovative names in the healthcare space at UK, EU and global level.

We are looking for a stand-out Director to take the lead on two key international healthcare clients and play a role in growing our portfolio. This role will involve consulting senior clients and leading global and pan-European client portfolios in the pharmaceutical, biotech and broader healthcare space. Currently the Porter Novelli Healthcare team is supporting a wide arrange of clients, including Roche, Pfizer, Amgen and Bayer Pharmaceuticals across Product Communications, Corporate Health, Patient Advocacy and Health Equity. Therapy areas include oncology, neurology, rare disease, diabetes, blood diseases and gastroenterology - to name but a few.

The potential for this role is huge. With great buy-in from current clients, a healthy new business pipeline in place and a dynamic and collaborative team that has grown to match client needs, our future Director will have everything they need to make the role a success.

About You:

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industry, objectives and core challenges.
  • Experience managing significant client portfolios in excess of £1.5m+ .
  • A commitment to health equity, purpose, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • A strong client manager, able to encourage clients to embrace innovative ideas and Do Business Better, through sound strategic counsel and creative insight.
  • A trusted team lead who will encourage fierce collaboration and help your team go beyond their comfort zones.
  • A senior advisor who can consult with conviction both with clients and internally.
  • An effective advocate for Porter Novelli London who will pursue brilliance in the new business arena.

What your day to day could look like:

  • Providing strategic counsel; managing and motivating account teams to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Developing cohesive, integrated communications strategies and leading plan development for clients' new business and organic growth opportunities.
  • Sharing and promoting PN thought leadership with clients.
  • Being a mentor, leader and coach to a growing and talented junior team
  • Identifying and cultivating organic growth opportunities.
  • Participating in high-value new business client pitches.
