As the Tax Junior your principal task is simple, to assist the Tax Manager with all tax related matters. The preparation of tax returns, collecting tax information, inputting data into tax software, submitting returns helping to ensure compliance with tax requirements and avoiding penalties. Your new role (Tax Junior) The key responsibilities of the Tax Junior are to:
  • File tax returns (personal and corporate)
  • Prepare basic tax returns with support from the Tax Manager
  • Assisting with simple client queries
  • Calculating payments on account
  • Preparing basic Director only payrolls

This role reports into the Tax Manager, so you will see the nuts and bolts of a commercial tax team in a naturally challenging but rewarding environment. The company has a friendly team culture so if you are driven and thrive on continuous improvement within a supportive and dynamic environment you’ll enjoy working here. Professional development is high on the agenda with study support for ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians). So if you want to learn, progress and grow, you'll appreciate the support that this role offers. Please note - as a Tax Junior you will be office based for five days p.w. with travel across the County and the UK to support the tax affairs of clients. Benefits
