This temporary to permanent General Operative position offers a pay rate of £11.44+. A General Operative is required to work Monday to Friday on weekly rotating shift of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, with voluntary overtime available. Responsibilities of a General Operative:

  • Completing in house training
  • Loading material into machines
  • Lifting products to a significant weight
  • Correcting any machine errors and faults, immediately
  • Reporting down time appropriately
  • Packing products correctly to customer specifications
Requirements of a General Operative:
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • An eye for detail
  • Experience in this type of role will be advantageous
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment will be advantageous
Bonuses for a General Operative:
  • 13 week temporary to permanent agreement
  • Overtime rate
  • Bonus Structure following the completion of 13 weeks
