The company are a global market leader in industrial machinery, supplying the poultry sector with machinery and technology solutions and have been established for over 70 years.About the Role:The role will include all general management of a sales and maintenance engineering office based in Telford UK, of a global manufacturing and technology business. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily, national operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as training employees, as well as maintaining relationships with key clients.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to a team of 30+ peopleTranslate global growth strategy to the local teamManage operations and sales of the businessRecruit and train new hires on business practicesDrive development of employeesEnsure that quality of work or service is maintainedQualifications:Management experience, ideally running a national sales office of an industrial manufacturer that supplies capital goods to the agriculture/farming industry or associated sectors. Demonstrated ability to lead and educate staff. Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting. Strong communications skills.Required Skills:5+ Years of General Management experience within an industrial machinery supplierConfidence in dealing with agricultural clients and knowledge of the sectorTrack record of consultative sellingEntrepreneurial and strategic leaderPay range and compensation package:Base salary of c.£100,000 per year, plus a bonus, car and private medical care
