About You:

We are looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic team player who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced agency environment. The ability to showcase their video creation and editing skills from the get-go is a must. 

Your Experience:

We are seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Social Media Video Creator and Editor to produce engaging and high-quality video content for our brands social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate our different brand's messaging into compelling visual content that resonates with the target audience for each social platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
  • Develop and produce video content for various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Conceptualize and storyboard video ideas that align with the brand’s voice and marketing goals.
  • Shoot and edit video footage, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content is on-brand and meets the company’s objectives.
  • Editing and Post-Production:
  • Edit raw video footage into polished, shareable videos that capture the audience’s attention.
  • Add graphics, animations, special effects, and music to enhance video content.
  • Ensure all videos are optimised for different social media platforms, considering formats, lengths, and specific requirements.
  • Maintain a consistent style and quality across all video content.
  • Creative Development:
  • Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, video techniques, and platform best practices.
  • Innovate new ways to engage audiences through video content.
  • Provide creative input to the team, contributing to brainstorming sessions and content strategy planning.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain organised project files and archives of all video content.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate content production and release schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a video editor and creator, preferably within a social media or digital marketing context.
  • Proficiency in video editing software 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and high-quality video content.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual details.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, their video formats, and best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.

Work Environment:
