Abatec are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to join our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing Civil Engineering Contractors based in South Wales.

Initially you will be working on an energy project in Pontypridd and our client requires someone with good general civils experience including earthworks and reinforced concrete.

This is an exceptional opportunity if you’re looking to work in a supportive but ambitious environment with clear career progression and proactive employee engagement.

Resource allocation and management of Site staff.

* Ensuring safe systems of work and the Company Safety Policy are practiced.

* Management of projects/contracts.

* Communication at all levels regarding progress of projects.

* Line management/supervision for Sub Agents & General Foreman.

* Civil Engineering/Construction management degree

* Proven experience from engineering background demonstrating progress to Site Agent through career development with both theoretical and practical experience.

* CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day)
