***New Role: Managing Quantity Surveyor***

My client, a Tier One Contractor, are expanding their Commercial Team After a very successful set of tenders across their Highways side of the business, they are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to manage a series of schemes in Essex with two large schemes coming up worth £40 million.

This role is ideal for a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge and to work with a truly rewarding company that is taking the Infrastructure/ Civil Engineering industry by storm Alternatively, if you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor managing a team of Quantity Surveyors and are looking for a new challenge, this position would be a great opportunity to take on a bit more responsibility on the pathway to Commercial Management.

The suitable Managing Quantity Surveyor will:

- Hold a Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

- Have a minimum of 7 years' experience with at least 2 years at Managing/ Senior level

- Have a background in the Highways sector, preferably working on multi-million pound projects.

- Be strongly acquainted/ proficient in the NEC Suite of Contracts
