Quantity Surveyor- Beaulieu

Murphy is offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join the team for the Beaulieu Park Station project. Participate in a prominent project within the CP6 Anglia Framework involving the development of Beaulieu Park Station. This notable project aims to deliver a new three-platform station on the Great Eastern Main Line, offering an enriching experience for career advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Price estimation and administration under Main Contract and Subcontracts
  • Support subcontract payment management
  • Assist in cost/value reconciliation reporting
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities in commercial processes
  • Monitor planned vs. actual costs
  • Timely issuance of contractual notices and quotations
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, working towards Chartership
  • Proficient in commercial principles
  • Proven track record in civils or infrastructure projects
  • Experience with NEC contracts and procurement/supply chain
  • Ability to assess value in estimating and cost processes
  • Understanding of commercial gateway processes and subcontractor instructions
