Job Title: Head of Procurement & Logistics
Location: UK (Remote/Flexible)

As the Head of Procurement & Logistics, you will lead a qualified global team in driving procurement, supply chain, and logistics excellence. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality assurance, and supply chain optimization.
Evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing vendor partnerships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Leading the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and contract management activities to meet organizational objectives.
Monitoring procurement metrics, analyzing market trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
Streamlining supply chain processes, inventory control, and demand forecasting to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement and logistics activities with business needs and priorities.
Managing logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless product delivery.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Identifying and mitigating risks related to supplier relationships, inventory management, and transportation delays.
Engaging with senior management and external partners to align procurement and logistics strategies with organizational objectives.
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related roles, with demonstrated project management and process improvement expertise.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills, with a creative and problem-solving approach.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, data analysis tools, and supply chain technologies.
Knowledge of industry best practices, market trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability principles in procurement and logistics.
Experience in supplier and subcontractor auditing.
Experience with Oracle Netsuite.
Previous experience in marine, survey, or offshore operations.
