Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director of Group Operations to join the leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Director of Group Operations will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth of the organisation, with a particular focus on expanding services in complex learning disabilities and mental health while overseeing the portfolio encompassing social housing and homelessness services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the operational management of Look Ahead's diverse service portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the expansion of services in complex learning disabilities and mental health, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to align operational strategies with organisational goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices across all service areas.
- Drive performance monitoring and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness and impact of operational initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, partners, and community organizations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record of senior leadership experience in the social care or healthcare sector, with a focus on operational management and strategic growth.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of complex learning disabilities, mental health services, social housing, and homelessness issues.
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for expansion and drive organizational growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and deliver results.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of organizational operations.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, social care, or a related field are highly desirable.
