The Audit & Accounts Manager is a pivotal role within our clients Accountancy Firm. Overseeing key accounting and audit assignments. The candidate will be responsible for managing full process audits, overseeing technical accounts, and providing expert tailored advice to clients.

Our client is a leading entity in the professional services sector. With a workforce of over 300 employees, they have a strong presence in Central London and are known for delivering high-quality audit, accounting and tax services to a diverse client base.

Description

  • Oversee the delivery of full and accurate complex audit assignments.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Manage client relationships and provide expert advice.
  • Ensure technical compliance inline with FRS102 / IFRS and UKGAAP accounting standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of audit and accounts strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior staff.
  • Participate in business development activities and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Profile

A successful Audit & Accounts Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven practical experience in an audit and accounts role within professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent client management and advisory skills.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong networking and business development skills.
