This is a great opportunity to work with a close and supportive team, as committed to staff wellbeing. DUTIES
- To deliver upto level 2 functional skills English and Mathematics
- Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom environment
- Planning and delivery engaging lessons, tailoring your teaching to the learners’ individual needs
- Caseload of 12 learners in the classroom
- All planning, marking is done on site within the working hours and not a requirement to complete any additional extra-circular activities
- To work with a caseload of learners in men’s Prison (The learners are in the classes because they want to be, they are not obligated to be as its not part of their sentence, some learners are coming to the end of sentences and looking to gain new qualifications to ease into society. All safeguarding measures are in place and will not be on your own as Prison Guards outside every classroom and panic buttons in the classroom if ever needed, not that been used before.)
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time
- Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
- Produce reports
- Attend meetings
- Must be Teacher qualified.
- Experience in delivering English and mathematics to adult learner
- £30,722 to £37,059 per annum that’s including the London Weighting allowance
- Teachers’ Pension Scheme
- Mileage paid
- 37 hours per week

- All equipment is provided to complete the role
